THANGS: Breakfast at Tiffany’s / McDonalds

I was aware of Breakfast at Tiffany’s before I did this painting but I did have to do a real deep dive into it before I came up with this one. It was an odd one because I could see how women in the past could be inspired by someone who didn’t fit the mold but dang, there was a lot of problematic stuff in there. I did end up making what I think is the perfect painting out of this honing in of Holly’s party lifestyle. We’ve all been there!
