I really love David Lynch so this was a super fun one to do. For the most part, I like to immerse myself in the media of the person I'm creating the painting of, but with him I couldn't really do it because I kept finding myself staring at the screen. Not a ton of dialogue in those films! However, my rewatching of Dune: Extended Addition during the making of this painting reminded me to give him Spice eyes. I just wish there were some good Churros in Seattle so I could have immersed myself in those too.
