Ted Lasso was the tonic that 2020 needed and it hit the people that tuned in so hard that a painting was ordered before the show even received the notice it deserves! I think the Beastie Boys have some of that hip hop optimism that works its magic in similar ways. I worked hard on this one mixing the two ideas and getting the early beastie essence right and I think the characters really paired pretty well with their hip hop counterpoints.
