Well, this one is a little complicated now. I came up with these two thangs because I wanted to paint a creator and their creation and then have them visually paired. This was before all the TERF stuff and her doubling and trippling down on it. That being said, I take these pieces of the outside world and paint them not because of what they mean to me or the world but what they meant to the person at the time they got them. I think this painting just describes JK and doesn’t really elevate her one way or the other so I decided to leave it as a piece of the work as a whole.
