This was an early example painting I did of Matt Pike from the bands High on Fire and Sleep as a pin up. I just really liked the idea of a kind of sleazy guy as a sex symbol. I had heard multiple people express their attraction to him, which surprised me so I thought it would be fun. I eventually did the dirtbag pinup calendar which was amazing.
